Sarcomatoid squamous cell carcinoma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that involves a mix of abnormal squamous cells and spindle-shaped cells. This type of cancer grows quickly and tends to spread to other parts of the body, leading to poor outcomes. It can develop in various areas, including the lungs, oral cavity, larynx, esophagus, gastrointestinal tract, cervix, vagina, uterus, and skin.

Many sufferers of Sarcomatoid squamous cell carcinoma struggle because they feel that their disease doesn’t have the same level of awareness as more common cancers. Without a Ribbon is an Australian non-profit organisation that believes that rare cancers should never go unnoticed. We aim to provide a detailed set of resources and information for anyone suffering from cancers such as Sarcomatoid squamous cell carcinoma. We have recently created an Sarcomatoid squamous cell carcinoma resource page to help sufferers understand their disease. It covers the symptoms, available treatments and other important information.

We hope that this resource page will help you or a friend/family member to learn about their illness and aid them through their battle with the disease.
