1st May 2015 – 3rd May 2015
The 2015 Warriors United Conference was held in Sydney.

Friday evening opened with our registration and after a few little sneaky drinks in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Hotel, where the Board had managed to get a great discount for us all, we headed out for first night together.  A leisurely stroll through the Rocks around the foreshore and we ended up having dinner under the iconic Sydney Opera House, overlooking the wonderful harbour and the majestic bridge.

Saturday morning after a little sleep in Warriors and the Board boarded a bus and toured some the most amazing tourist attractions Sydney has to offer.  With lunch at the famous Doyles at Watson’s Bay, it was probably the first time the Warriors had time to ask questions of each other, that only those who have been through this lonely journey.

Saturday evening which was planned to be on the Roof Top of The Metropolitan Hotel, however the Sydney weather had different ideas.  However, as the night had been sponsored by the amazing team at Star Finance, the weather could not dampen the love and support the Warriors and their partners felt.  Getting to know each other just that little bit better and being able to share their experiences is more valuable than words can explain.

While the conference  officially wound up on Saturday Night.  Sunday morning so the Warriors not wanting to leave each other.  The poor restaurant staff had to clean up around them as they tried to close down after their kitchen service. I think we had better start planning breakfasts in the future as part of the weekend.
