Papillary endometrioid carcinoma is a tumor that originates from the endometrial layer of the uterus. It has a papillary structure and is characterized by the presence of a fibrovascular bundle. This type of tumor is dependent on estrogen and generally has a favorable outcome. For first and second-grade papillary endometrioid carcinoma, the 5-year survival rate is 93-94%.
Many sufferers of Papillary endometrioid carcinoma struggle because they feel that their disease doesn’t have the same level of awareness as more common cancers. Without a Ribbon is an Australian non-profit organisation that believes that rare cancers should never go unnoticed. We aim to provide a detailed set of resources and information for anyone suffering from cancers such as Papillary endometrioid carcinoma. We have recently created a Papillary endometrioid carcinoma resource page to help sufferers understand their disease. It covers the symptoms, available treatments and other important information.
We hope that this resource page will help you or a friend/family member to learn about their illness and aid them through their battle with the disease.
