Malignant Triton Tumour (MTT) is a rare and aggressive type of nerve sheath tumour that resembles muscle cells. It falls under the category of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs) and is often associated with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). Due to its rapid growth and high recurrence rate, MTT has a poor prognosis.

Many sufferers of Malignant Triton Tumour struggle because they feel that their disease doesn’t have the same level of awareness as more common cancers. Without a Ribbon is an Australian non-profit organisation that believes that rare cancers should never go unnoticed. We aim to provide a detailed set of resources and information for anyone suffering from cancers such as Malignant Triton Tumour. We have recently created an Malignant Triton Tumour resource page to help sufferers understand their disease. It covers the symptoms, available treatments and other important information.

We hope that this resource page will help you or a friend/family member to learn about their illness and aid them through their battle with the disease.
