Ewing sarcoma of the bone is a type of tumour that results from uncontrolled division or multiplication of cells in bones or nearby soft tissues. Ewing sarcoma of the bone can develop in people of any age, but usually occurs in children and adolescents between the ages of 10-20 years. It is more common in people of white American ethnicity as compared to black.

Many sufferers of Ewing Sarcoma of the Bone struggle because they feel that their disease doesn’t have the same level of awareness as more common cancers. Without a Ribbon is an Australian non-profit organisation that believes that rare cancers should never go unnoticed. We aim to provide a detailed set of resources and information for anyone suffering from rare cancers such as Ewing Sarcoma of the Bone. We have recently created an Ewing Sarcoma of the Bone resource page to help sufferers understand their disease. It covers the symptoms, available treatments and other important information.

We hope that this resource page will help you or a friend/family member to learn about their illness and aid them through their battle with the disease.
