Childhood Medulloblastoma is a fast-growing cancerous brain tumour that starts in the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for balance, movement, and coordination. It is the most common malignant brain tumour in children, but it can also occur in adults. In some cases, the tumour can spread to other parts of the brain and spinal cord through the fluid that surrounds the central nervous system.
Many sufferers of Childhood Medulloblastoma struggle because they feel that their disease doesn’t have the same level of awareness as more common cancers. Without a Ribbon is an Australian non-profit organisation that believes that rare cancers should never go unnoticed.
