What is Mesothelioma of the Testis?
Mesothelioma of the testis is an aggressive type of tumour that develops in the inner lining and mesothelium of the testis. It particularly develops in the tunica vaginalis a membrane that surrounds the Testis. Testicular mesothelioma accounts for less than 1% of all testicular cancers. The average life expectancy with treatment is 3 years.
What is Testis?

Prolonged exposure to asbestos is a potential cause for the development of mesothelioma of the Testis.

What Support can we Give for Mesothelioma of the Testis?
Mesothelioma of the Testis is rare cancer, meaning it is not as well known as other forms of cancer. Without a Ribbon is an Australian organisation that provides support for individuals who suffer from rare cancers. So, we provide a designated platform for Warriors to obtain information specific to their Rare Cancer. We also provide annual opportunities for our Warriors to meet and learn from each other. If you suffer from rare cancer such as Mesothelioma of the Testis, we can help and support you through your journey thanks to the generous donations we receive.
